Phil Kieran - Pensive Clap

I had the pleasant opportunity to work with the irish electronic music producer and DJ Phil Kieran on this music video. The video is one of a collection of videos by different artist, curated by Phil, to promote his album The Strand Cinema, and also for concert visuals for his concert at the Strand Arts Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Phil had a set of ideas in mind, exploring ideas of time and space, all connected with the architectural style and art movement Bauhaus, which is itself the style of the architecture of the Strand arts Centre.

Every element of the video (Including the grainy 8mm film effect and frame) is made in Blender.

Ars Dada - Döden

With the release of the EP Tenebris from Ars Dada (Erlend Bilsbak) on Draug Media Records, i was asked to create a music video for the EP.

Erlend had a strong idea of exploring dark-jazz and breakcore as a hybrid-genre, combined with the style and feeling of old american 50s Noir films. Erlend had a picture of a doll in a chair, and asked me to create something around that. The result became this cover, comprised of props that would elude to this exact feeling. The music video grew out of the aesthetics and assets from the cover, and the doll became the central character in the video, that kept a common thread throughout the 5 minute long video.

The video was featured on Ballade Video LXVIII, showcasing their picks for best norwegian music videos of 2021.

The video is created and edited in Blender.

Skolopender - Liten Kuling 12

Along with Skolopender’s release of Liten Kuling Tolv on Draug Media Records, my first opportunity to create a video with my skills in Blender arrived.

Skolopenders dark pulsating club techno became the backdrop for the idea of the video, where i “improvised” every element of the track with abstract dark metallic items and shapes. There is only one “shot”, and so the result is a tense and dark psychedelic club techno experience that emphasises the typical elements of electronic concert visuals.

Created entirely in Blender.
